The first Green Day in the Netherlands was a success! 🌟 We were happy to see the enthusiasm and commitment shown by everyone involved. The visual and interactive approach of the Climate Fresk helped the participants to see the bigger picture on Climate Change. Together, we can create a sustainable future. 🌍

Nefab Germany had it´s first Green Day to bring purpose to life. The participants came up with great ideas and I´m already looking forward to more Green Days to come.

On June 14, our China West team successfully concluded the first "Green Day" workshop in Chengdu. This event provided an in-depth understanding of global warming and emphasized the urgency to take immediate action to protect our planet. Participants engaged in the collaborative activity Climate Fresk, where they named and beautified the climate-themed artwork. This hands-on experience fostered a greater sense of involvement and a deeper comprehension of how human activities impact global climate change. During the interactive exchange session, attendees actively shared their personal strategies for reducing their carbon footprint, aligning with our "Green Tianfu" theme. The workshop also highlighted the company's sustainable development strategy and carbon emission reduction goals, offering clear guidance for our future initiatives. This knowledge equips us with the direction needed to continue our efforts towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

The team at NEFAB UK met together in our Northampton office to participate in the Climate Fresk to become more Climate aware with some very enthusiastic participation.

On June 7, ReflexThailand hosted its first Climate Fresk workshop to educate and raise awareness about climate change in an engaging manner. The event allowed participants to express diverse opinions, explore the causes and effects of climate change, and reflect on their personal actions. Emphasizing individual responsibility, the workshop encouraged employees to consider what more they can do to make the world and our society a better place to live. This initiative highlights the importance of environmental awareness and proactive steps towards sustainability.

There was a great turnout during the first Green day workshop in Kista HQ. Many interesting discussions later, it all ended with a shared salad lunch.

On 17.5.2024 we had our second Green Day here in Slovakia with our colleagues from nailing site. Their participation in Green day was absolutely stunning. They nailed the Climate fresk activity and contributed with lots of different ideas how to make our Nefab more sustainable.

Congratulations to Nefab Singapore on completing the Green days on 17th May. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication to making a positive impact on our environment and society. Last week we had our 3rd Greenday in Portugal and once again it was a very successful workshop! Everyone was really committed to creating significant change and moving forward with our purpose.

During the workshop's interactive sessions, participants shared strategies and reflections, fostering thought-provoking discussions. This face-to-face communication environment not only generated laughter but also facilitated in-depth discussions on climate issues.

Last April 29th, the first Green Day session took place in Pontevedra. The participants were fully involved, and this allowed them to understand the worrying current situation of our world. Undoubtedly, the Climate Fresk game has been a much-needed starting point, which let us to discuss and provide important comments, and issues that have made us reflect, and start taking action. We have reached 10 Green Days in France, what a great milestone! This means that we have reached more than half of the Green Days to pass on. We are very pleased with our progress and everyone is enjoying it. So let's keep going and raise awareness of climate change among Nefab France employees!

Very hot temperatures in Thailand🥵? -Take care of you and people around. ❤️‍🩹 - Observe what can be done ✅ -Join a แฮชแท็ก#ClimateFresk workshop to understand why if the Paris agreement on climate change is not enforced effectively, Southeast Asia could be hit harder by heat waves than other regions and Thailand could face extremely hot weather for up to 220 days a year in about 20 years. Professor Seree Suparathit, director of the Centre for Climate Change and Disasters at Rangsit University, speaks about the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) held in Paris in December 2015. Seree said he bases his prediction on IPCC. In the worst-case scenario – if the global temperature rises 4.5°C, heat waves could be experienced for 180-220 days in the North, middle and upper Northeast and 220-240 days in the Central, East and lower Northeast. He said all countries must act now to implement the COP21 resolution.

Today we had our 6th Green day and it was the second time we had a session in Spanish! It was a great group and many expressed how “eye opening” the workshop was! Let’s continue learning and bringing the Purpose to Life!!

We were so glad to host first official Green Day on 23.4.2024 in Slovakia. At a Green Day, we engaged in conversations about climate change, exchanged ideas, and explored ways to contribute to a more sustainable future. It was a valuable gathering that motivated all of the attendees to take action for a greener planet.

It was the second green day in Asan, Korea on April 25th. Two very active groups playing "Climate Fresk" game, lots of learning about climate changes. And, we shared many great ideas. Think globally, act locally!!!

We are happy to announce that we finished the 5th Green Day on 17 Apr 2024 with "Climate Fresk" game. 6th and 7th Green Day held in Estonia Our next two Green Days were held in Estonia, on April 22th and 23th with 28 people, actively engaged for creation of the Fresks and brainstorming the best ideas for implementation. During the Brainstorm many ideas were presented how to help to reduce the CO2 consumption in Nefab. We are ready and waiting forward our next Green Days in May!

The first Green Day in Busan has just finished. Thanks to all the participants and Trang for your help!! The card game was really fun and also informative. And, good ideas were shared and submitted. I believe small steps make a big difference!!!

Hello all Nefab employees, on 10.4.2024 we had our first pilot Green Day in Slovakia. All of the attendees were super helpful, brought a lot of new ides and were active in the Climate fresk. We had a lots of fun and meaningful discussion.

Another exciting Green Day took place on April 9th. The two teams worked amazingly well together and tackled the science of climate change, creating fantastic and colorful Fresks. The theme was all about reducing consumption and that led to inspiring brainstorm of ideas on how to save resources in Nefab. With all the new knowledge and better understanding, the participants left the room hopeful, that together we can stop climate change.

It is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its inaugural workshop, Green Days in Nefab Manesar India! The workshop, held on 19th April’24, brought together 7 participants from different departments for collective intelligence & an immersive learning experience with card games. The Green Days workshop based on climate education offering that how and why the climate changes at the current pace and the consequences of its disruption. Attendees have a unique opportunity to engage with facilitator, participate in interactive activities and share their emotions on climate changes, sustainable action idea towards own operation, supply chain & people.

Today was the first Greenday here in Portugal and I'm very happy to say that it was a success! The level of active participation and commitment from everyone was truly remarkable. Being aware of what is happening around us is the first step in changing our less sustainable habits and today we managed to move a little further in that direction... I look forward to continuing with our Greendays in Portugal and bringing our purpose to life!

Thailand ranks 25th in the current CCPI, up 17 spots and among the countries with a medium level of performance. The country’s performance is mixed, with low ratings in the Climate Policy and Renewable Energy categories, but a high in GHG Emissions and Energy Use. In August 2023, Thailand set up the Department of Climate Change and Environment to tackle climate change’s harmful impacts and fulfil the country’s climate pledges. The country’s nationally determined contribution (NDC), updated in 2022, includes an unconditional target of reducing GHG emissions by 30% by 2030, and a conditional target of 40% below ‘business-as-usual’ levels, which is subject to support from other countries and the UNFCCC. Thailand is targeting 2065 for net zero. The CCPI country experts feel this target requires more ambition.

It is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its inaugural workshop, Green Days in Nefab Malaysia! The event, held on 5th April, brought together 6 participants from different departments for an immersive learning experience. The Green Days Focused on sharing climate education offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with facilitators, participate in interactive activities and network with peers. Highlights from the workshop include: 1. Interactive learning 2. Networking opportunities 3. Actionable takeaways The feedback from the participants is overwhelmingly positive as well with many expressing interests in future similar events to be happened.

Happy to share that we had 13 people on our forth workshop, actively engaged for creation of the Fresk and brainstorming the best ideas for implementations. Groups called their Fresks "Valley of Troubles" and "No Human, No Problem". There were around 70 ideas raising from Brainstorm, starting from small initiatives which could support the changes reducing the CO2 on the roads, for example using electrical vehicles for Transportation, up to more complex ideas, for example to reduce the amount of packaging film, use less wood and have environmental friendly FSC/PEFC materials everywhere in Nefab. We are looking forward next Climate Fresk workshop already next week!

Here we are! Yesterday was our first Green Day in France, what a great achievement! The group was composed of either Blue- & White-collars which enabled very interesting and enriching discussions for everyone. We can't wait to facilitate our next Green day!

3rd Green Day in Estonia was held on March 19th. 3,5 hours, 12 people and a lot of great discussions!

Happy to share that we had 12 people on yesterdays workshop, actively engaged for creation of the Fresk and brainstorming the best ideas for implementation. Groups called their Fresks " Broken heart" and "Every Bee counts". There were around 70 ideas raising from Brainstorm, starting from small initiatives which could support the changes reducing the CO2 on the road to work, like parking place for bikes and charging point for electrical vehicles, up to more complex ideas, for example to use environmental friendly/ reusable materials, to have a Footprint Database/ Analysis´of all Materials we use in Nefab. Next Workshop already in two weeks!

The first two Green Days in Austria took place on February 27th and 28th. Thanks to 13 participants for sharing amazing ideas to bring purpose to Nefab!

At the Green day workshop, all participants were very excited to join the new game "Climate Fresk" related to scientific knowledge about climate change. Not only does the game "Climate change" give us knowledge and the connection of economic, social and environmental systems to climate change attractively but it also makes us more conscious of what we do, and it gives us sense of responsibility to act. Although each participant has different feelings about climate change, they all have a common goal of how to respond to climate change and call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.

Feelings of a participant after took place the "Green Day" workshop: “This afternoon I returned home with a completely different mood. I recall the "Green day" workshop held this morning. Images of famine, epidemics, floods, droughts... keep running in my head like a slow-motion movie. I am indifferent to nature and my own living environment thinking that our beautiful Earth is warming largely due to nature. But after participating in the training course on Climate Change, I changed my perception. I have understood that "Everything originates from people". Therefore, we can completely change this life if you and I join hands to spread practical actions to protect the environment and that is the only way to protect our own lives on the planet."

We are happy to announce that the first Green Day in Estonia took place yesterday February 22nd. Climate Fresk once again proved how in short time it can give so much insight on the causes and consequences of climate change. We thank our 13 participants for enthusiastic Fresk and amazing ideas they shared on how to tackle climate change in Nefab!

Whales are at the top of the food chain and have an important role in the overall health of the marine environment. Whales play a significant role in capturing carbon from the atmosphere; each great whale sequesters an estimated 33 tons of CO2 on average, thus playing their part in the fight against climate change. How Do Whales Contribute to Carbon Storage and Nutrient Cycling? Like trees in a rainforest or marine algae in a kelp forest, whales are efficient at capturing and storing atmospheric carbon directly in their large bodies throughout their long lives. When whales die, their carbon-rich carcasses often sink to the seafloor; that carbon is trapped and prevented from returning to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Whales also indirectly contribute to carbon capture by providing nutrient-rich waste to phytoplankton, which absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide.

As we are preparing for out first Green Day to take place in February, we took a step back to look at the improvements we have already made to help Nefab Estonia be more climate friendly. Here are some we are the proudest of: • Our factory only uses renewable energy from 2021. • Switched to LED lighting on our factory outer territory and use motion sensors on all the storage areas. This change helps us reduce our electricity consumption by approx 10 000 kWh/year. • Switching from gas forklifts to electric forklifts by 2030. As a pilot project, Nefab Estonia has switched 2 gas forklifts to electric ones to evaluate their features and to reduce our CO2 emisions by approx 10 tons/year. • In 2024 solar panels will be installed on the roof of Nefab Estonia production facility. These will cover around 15% of our daily energy consumption and contribute to reduction of C02 emissions by 384 tons/year of the Estonian electricity market.

NEFAB INDIA Manesar Plant installed new PNG based Gas Genset with PNG meter & gas pipeline successfully commission and run with loading. Reason for Requirement: - The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has proposed to reduce pollution by banned all diesel Genset in Delhi NCR capital region older than 15 years. Benefit to NEFAB: - 1: Sustainable solution, Sources of power backup for plant running, fulfill Government guidelines and Annually 6.3 Ton Co2 saving. 2: PNG based Genset with “0” Carbon emission. 3: Safety: - Improvement of plant safety (Earlier purchased diesel and storage in plant i.e. manually operating and risk) Now in PNG case, pipeline direct connected with Genset with safety valves.

Business and Workplace Inspiration from Mother Nature Let’s talk about mushrooms! They are the reproductive fruit of something much larger and deeper… mycelium! Mycelium is an essential worker, providing recyclability and communication services to the forests and environments where they exist. The trees are able to extend their roots by utilizing the mycelium as a sort of communication roadmap, helping them to locate resources such as water and communicate with fellow trees. Trees and mycelium coexist, both small and large together, with the mission of circularity. Mushrooms remind us of this much bigger relationship between the trees, plants, and mycelium. Something, as humans, we cannot observe with our eyes, until we see the mushroom. A beautiful flower of decomposition, recyclability, and connectivity.

Hello All! As I get settled in for a new year, I consider what I'd like to accomplish throughout that year; goals that often revolve around personal growth and new experiences. I've had the good fortune to become a part of the Bring Purpose to Life community and its's exciting because not only is it a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability, it puts me in a position to help enrich the lives of others as well. So I've come up with three simple, but effective goals: 1. Educate myself. 2. Educate others. 3. Live what I learn. Let's do this! Wishing you all an inspired year.

In digital business card every piece of information becomes accessible via a single screen tap, can be easily stored in contacts and accessed on smartphones. Usage of paper and printing ink is eliminated which is more environment friendly. Traditional business cards become outdated in case of role change or contact change but in digital card real time data update is possible. Today we successfully completed the first Facilitation Training in Nefab for Community Managers in China and Taiwan. All of us are excited to run Green Days in our local sites.

Here in the Americas we are ending the year strong, and very much looking forward to Bring Purpose to Life in 2024! Thankful for our motivated and passionate community managers in the Americas, and all of the great people who will participate across our five countries: Canada, United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile! 10 million tons CO2 Savings here we come!

After a heavy 1.5hrs, our participants are given time to cool off and exercise their more creative side – taking a look at all the connections they have made and to create a beautiful Fresk with distinct titles to describe each team’s view on the current realities we’re facing.

In the final section of the Fresk, our participants are confronted with not just the realities of adverse weather effects and natural disasters, but also direct human consequences should we continue down our current trajectory.

Coming to the second last section of the Fresk, our participants are now faced with the realities of how exactly natural disasters are a direct result of climate change.

Our third round gets much more technical, with our participants diving deep into the specific scientific explanations behind different phenomenon associated with climate change. Quite the treat for those in the audience who love deep scientific details

For round 2, our participants are getting a better understanding of the impacts of human activities on the planet – for example, how does transportation, industrialization, and agriculture fit into the climate change chain

The first round of the Fresk is going great! Our participants are arranging the first set of cards focused specifically on Global Warming, with engaging discussions going on about the impact (or lack thereof) of the melting of land and sea ice on sea levels

Let’s go for the Climate Fresk for our top 120 executives. They will be participating to the Climate Fresk to get more knowledge on climate change and run the workshop to collect ideas to be more engaged in our purpose.
