Business and Workplace Inspiration from Mother Nature Let’s talk about mushrooms! They are the reproductive fruit of something much larger and deeper… mycelium! Mycelium is an essential worker, providing recyclability and communication services to the forests and environments where they exist. The trees are able to extend their roots by utilizing the mycelium as a sort of communication roadmap, helping them to locate resources such as water and communicate with fellow trees. Trees and mycelium coexist, both small and large together, with the mission of circularity. Mushrooms remind us of this much bigger relationship between the trees, plants, and mycelium. Something, as humans, we cannot observe with our eyes, until we see the mushroom. A beautiful flower of decomposition, recyclability, and connectivity.

As a creative person, I’m always looking for the things in life that inspire me to create, dream, and help make the world a better place!
