Sustainability Council
In 2021, Nefab founded the Sustainability Council, an engaged community that is instrumental in advancing our purpose by addressing topics such as localizing Nefab’s sustainability message, finding new sustainable materials, and driving change inside the organization. The Nefab Board is responsible for setting up the sustainability direction and goals.
Sustainability Governance
As a key dimension of our purpose, sustainability is at the heart of Nefab corporate governance, from the Board of Directors to the CEO and the Corporate Leadership Team. Our CEO carries the responsibility for the successful implementation of our sustainability strategy. The work on sustainability projects/initiatives is led by the Executive Vice President, Innovation and Portfolio, who reports directly to the CEO. Every day, sustainability topics are managed by the heads of each department, as well as our key Group sustainability functions.
Our Ambition
Nefab established a long-term ambition of reducing CO2 eq emissions in our customers’ supply chains by 10 million tons by 2030. The progress is measured by GreenCalc, an internally developed environmental analysis tool that Nefab uses to provide customers with a transparent and complete Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of packaging and logistic flows.
