Some products need corrosion protection. This can be because of the international transport, extended storing time or the materials used. These types of packaging solutions effectively prevent against corrosion without having to treat the metal with oil, grease or paint.
Sustainability
We focus on using the least amount of materials to reach optimal performance. Have products made from recycled materials, achieving 70 to 90% CO2 reduction. And even use additives that have a safe plant base.
Reduces Cost
Preventing corrosion damage can of course reduce damaged goods. But also when the wrong kind of corrosion protection is applied it is possible to find alternatives that need less handling or materials. We evaluate and proof this through testing in our testlabs.

Why is corrosion protection needed?

LDPE/HDPE Film with Desiccants and/or VCI emitters
In some applications when products are not too sensitive to corrosion, when protection is only required for very short storage or when the level of humidity in the environment is low, this combination may offer enough corrosion protection.

Aluminum barrier film & desiccants
Aluminium barrier foil has a considerably lower water vapour transmission rate than bags made of LDPE or HDPE and reduces the required amount of desiccants.

VCI: Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors
VCI is an additive that can be added to most common packaging materials. Once exposed to the air, the additive vaporizes in the air and deposits itself as a thin layer on metal surfaces, preventing humidity from reacting with the metal.
