節省資源

In the early 2020s, fiber-based solutions, thermoformed solutions, lithium-ion battery packaging, digital services, and logistics services were some of the newest additions to Nefab’s growing portfolio. As government policies, consumer preferences, and corporate standards are increasingly demanding sustainable packaging practices, Nefab will continue to develop and offer solutions that help companies reduce their environmental impact while also saving money.
Nefab's new strategy – A Sustainable Growth Journey – is built on an ambition to take leading positions in strategic segments and being a trusted partner for global customers. To become a leader in those segments, Nefab will invest in expanding and scaling capabilities to deliver sustainable solutions, build strong segment- and strategic product teams, and improve operational performance. In addition, Nefab will strengthen the organization and recruit, develop, and retain passionate experts and leaders as they are key for delivering great performance.

A Purpose Drive Journey

Make it Count with GreenCalc

In 2021, Nefab started to communicate its purpose more broadly. The core message – We save resources in supply chains, for a better tomorrow – reinforced Nefab’s commitment to reduce CO2 emissions and total costs in customers’ supply chains. An essential part of this communication included GreenCalc, Nefab’s trusted Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) software. With GreenCalc, Nefab helps customers quantify, evaluate, and implement financial and environmental savings with smarter packaging and logistics solutions.

Expanding Market Presence and Sustainable Offerings

In 2020, Nefab acquired Szkaliczki, which positioned Nefab as a European leader in sustainable thermoformed trays. Two years later, Reflex Packaging Group, the world’s leading company in sustainable thermoformed cushioning was acquired, as well as Cargopack, Switzerland’s leading company in industrial packaging and logistic services.
Furthermore, the acquisitions of American industry leader PolyFlex, specializing in environmentally friendly returnable solutions, and US-based Plastiform, offering high quality thermoformed cushioning solutions, were
made in 2023 and 2024.
With these acquisitions, Nefab was significantly better equipped to address customer demands in high growth industries such as Telecom/ Datacom and Lithium-ion Battery (LiB). Due to added capabilities, Nefab also strengthened its offerings in recycled materials and circular models. Moreover, Nefab expanded its global presence with more sites and ability to service customers. One example was the new facility in Chile.

2030 Strategy

In 2023, Nefab decided on a new business strategy and a Wanted Position for 2030. This decision was based on a thorough situation analysis and an evaluation of strategic options. The new strategy – A Sustainable Growth Journey – is built on an ambition to take leading positions in strategic segments and being a trusted partner for global customers. Nefab is committed to making this strategy a success and taking leading positions in selected segments. The Nefab Purpose and Core Values will guide every effort to be the preferred global partner to customers and deliver sustainable and innovative packaging and logistics solutions that save environmental and financial resources in supply chains.

Part of this strategy includes implementing the Bring the Purpose
to Life intiative, which is a way of turning words into
actions and making sure we all live our purpose. The initiative has strong support from our owners and board of directors. Our shared goal is to make sustainability a cornerstone for exponential growth. We are partnering with Climate Fresk, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about climate change. Together we will embark on a Climate Change Awareness training journey. This initiative involves all our employees, including both white-collar and blue-collar workers across all regions and sites.
