Meet Hajnalka
Hajnalka started her journey with Nefab in 2006, when she started working with sales in Hungary.
Hajnalka, please tell us about how a typical day for you as Senior Key Account Manager!
I can tell you one thing and that is that days are challenging, but fun! My day always starts with a cup of tea while making the priority list for the day. Tasks with highest priority are always customer related. The workdays are lot about interacting with customers, either by visiting them or having regular calls. It is also about collaborating with other departments, such as sourcing, engineering and production, to ensure we deliver upon our promises. The best solutions are made when all departments are involved and cooperating with each other.
My lunch break is special for me and I use the time to invest in my health and myself. So, if you ever come to the office in Hungary around lunch time, you will see me exercising by walking up and down the stairs 15 times!
The afternoons are filled with everything from project meetings, customer visits or responding to urgent requests that often come during the day. At the end of the day, it is all about making customers satisfied and meet their needs.
What motivates you in your position?
What motivates me the most is finding solutions that are a win-win situation for both customers and Nefab. Finding a solution that everyone can be satisfied with is such a great feeling. I also like that I can support making the world greener by helping customers reduce their environmental impact with our packaging solutions and logistics optimization.
What is the best part of working for Nefab?
This one is simple; it is the people! They are very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. I also enjoy the collaboration between the local organization and the global teams. Like for myself, I am part of a great Hungarian sales team, but I am also involved in different teams around the world thanks to global projects. Another thing I like about Nefab is that I continuously learn from all the experienced and talented colleagues around the world.
你會如何形容 Nefab?
There are so many words I want to use to describe what I like with Nefab’s culture; it is direct, open, flexible, constructive, proactive and problem-solving. It is also characterized by hard working people, which drives me to perform even more. The environment is also very friendly and family-oriented, people are easy to connect with and there is never a question about supporting one another.
Nefab’s ways of working are Customer first, cooperation and communication, do you have an example of how these are reflected?
There was a kick-off meeting in Atlanta for a global customer, and we were Nefab representatives from three different countries. Even if we came from different countries and companies, it was clear how we all had one thing in common – a strong customer focus. We collaborated to design a new packaging solution for pallets that would fit the customer’s needs. The design was successfully done and is currently under testing, and we hope to implement it globally soon!
您能分享一下在 Nefab 工作的回憶嗎?
My favorite memory is from 2006 when I participated at Nefab’s sales training in Runemo, Sweden. I met people from all around the world and learned a lot during the training. One person that made a great impression on me was one of the teachers, Koen Adams. He has an ability to sell anything to anyone and taught me a lot about sales. Since then, Koen has climbed in the organization and he is now part of the Corporate Leadership Team and work as the regional president for Nefab Americas. He is still as friendly, open and helpful as he was more than ten years ago when I met him in Sweden. This is another great thing with Nefab, it doesn’t matter which position the person has, they are still approachable and supportive.
What are your thoughts about the future?
I am excited about what the future brings, and I wish to continue develop as Key Account Manager. I see myself continuing to manage and serve some of the biggest customers here in Hungary!
